Where is the summer camp held at?

The summer camp will be at FishHawk Sports Complex on the synthetic turf football field. Please call Coach KG’s cell phone (813) 446-7332 or his assistant (813) 965-8717 if you have trouble locating the field.

 

When and how long is the camp?

There are two 4 week camps this summer. Camp 1 will be from 6/13 to 7/6 (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 9am to 11am. Camp 2 will be from 7/11 to 8/3 (Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 9am to 11am.

 

Will there be a training session on July 4th?

No, we will be closed on Tuesday the 4th of July. But we will still have camp that following Thursday, July 6th.

 

Can I sign up my kid for both camps?

Absolutely! If you want your kid(s) to enhance their performance to the next level this summer, we highly recommend they attend both summer camps.

 

What should my child bring to camp?

Water! Lots of water or liquids to hydrate. Small snacks are also acceptable. Please be sure your child is dressed in appropriate workout clothes e.g., shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers. We recommend your child comes hydrated and fueled for the day as our trainings will be held outdoors. All training equipment will be provided by Triple Cord Athletics. Complimentary supplies may also be available during camp such as bug spray, sunscreen, and drinks.

 

Can parents stay and watch?

Yes, parents are allowed to stay and watch but must bring their own chairs. We only ask for parents to sit in a place where training sessions will not be disturbed, or your child be distracted by your presence.

 

How much is the summer camp and how do I pay?

Each week is $150, with the exception of the last week during Camp 1, as we will only have one camp day that week due to the 4th of July holiday. The last week of Camp 1 (July 6th) will only be $75.

Payments will be taken at the beginning of each week (on Tuesday’s) via the Vagaro App. After you register for each week in the Vagaro app, you will receive an invoice through the app. We will also take payments in person with our Square Chip Reader or if you need to pay in cash or Zelle form please let Coach KG know ahead of time.

 

What happens if it rains?

Camp will continue to run rain or shine. We will only cancel if there is projected lighting in the area or if rain is too severe to practice in. We are currently looking for a substitute location to train at nearby in the event there is severe rain or lightening. Information for this location will be TBD.
